Onboarding Overview

In alignment with our commitment to championing people and advancing a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture, SoCalGas has developed a strategic and comprehensive New Employee Onboarding Program. This program is a holistic approach designed to create an immersive and meaningful experience for new employees that join our company and employees that transfer into a new department. It is also intended to empower hiring managers with SoCalGas best practices, tools, and other resources.

The SoCalGas New Employee Onboarding Program is a structured process aimed at welcoming new hires into an organization and setting them up for success. It involves providing them with support tools and resources to help them thrive in their roles. Additionally, the program focuses on fostering a sense of belonging by creating a supportive environment where new employees feel connected, valued, and part of the organization.

Onboarding Resources Overview

Below is a high-level overview of the four onboarding phases. Hiring managers and new employees can click on the box that pertains to them for resources to navigate through each phase.
